Lydia Velazquez is a copywriter, graphic designer, and library card holder.

She enjoys engaging in work that prioritizes community and highlights resources and ways of connecting as a community. Empathy is a value central to her work and she prioritizes user input and feedback in her projects. She also appreciates working on teams where unique perspectives and positions can be balanced and used to help support intended audiences.

Lydia has experience designing resource brochures, event posters, social media graphics, and procedure documents. She is proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Canva and has an affinity for project management (she prefers Notion for personal organization and Asana for team project management).

She holds a B.A. in English with an emphasis in Professional & Technical Communication and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Technical Communication.
